The following list features transfers from November 1 to December 1, 2021. All players (and their information) were collected via AthLinkd’s transfer portal database tool.


5. Adrian Hope

LB | Furman

Hope was a 6’1″ 233-pound recruit out of Florida in the Class of 2017. After redshirting his first season, he put together an All-American year by recording 32 tackles, 16.5 TFLs, 15 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles. The next year he would earn all-conference honors with 40 tackles, 10 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks. Over his last 18 games through 2020 and 2021, he would add another 61 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 4 sacks before entering the portal in November 2021.


4. Jakob Herres

WR | VMI

Herres was a 6’4″ 225-pound receiver out of Pennsylvania in the class of 2018. As a true freshman, he recorded 27 receptions for 437 yards and 5 touchdowns. In 2019, he earned all-conference honors after putting up 72 catches for 1091 yards and 8 touchdowns. 2020 would earn him All-American recognition for 80 receptions for 978 yards and 8 touchdowns in only eight games. He put up another productive season in 2021 with 47 catches and 500 yards with 5 touchdowns before entering the portal in November 2021.


3. Shaundre Mims

DL | Charleston Southern

Mims was a 6’0″ 276-pound out of North Carolina in the 2018 class. As a freshman he played in 11 games to provide depth. In 2019, he posted 12 TFLs and 10 sacks to earn all-conference and sophomore All-American honors. Between 2020 and 2021, he would be recognized with all-conference honors twice more and potentially more All-American honors (post-article). He entered the portal in November 2021.


2. Ulonzo Gilliam Jr.

RB | UC-Davis

Gilliam was a 5’9″ 190-pound recruit out of California in the 2017 class. After redshirting his first year, he would earn all-conference honors in 2018 after recording 976 rush yards and 13 touchdowns with 385 receiving yards and four scores. In 2019, he would rise higher to earn All-American honors with 1249 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns alongside 254 yards and another score. He only appeared in three games in 2020 (2021 Spring) due to injury. But, as a senior, he performed well with 901 rush yard and 6 touchdowns along with 278 receiving yards and another score. He entered the portal in November 2021.


1. Koby Perry

DB | Austin Peay

Perry was a 6’0″ 174-pound recruit out of Georgia in the 2017 class. He began his career at Dodge City (JUCO) before attending Troy in 2019 as a three-star prospect, though he did not play. He transferred to Austin Peay and played in nine games in 2020. In 2021, Perry would have a breakout performance recording 85 tackles, 8 TFLs, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions, earning him conference player of the year and All-American honors. He entered the portal in November 2021.
