5. Maeaeafe Alailima

DL | Azusa Pacific

Alailima only saw a true amount of action in 2019 for the Cougars where he finished with 29 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. He was selected as All-Conference as one of the league’s best edge rushers. The 6’4″ 240-pound defensive end has been in the portal since January 2021. He is a Class of 2016 (HS) out of California.


4. Jaleel Berry

DL | Boston College

Berry has not appeared in many games for Boston College since his freshman season in 2017. His 2019 season was cut short due to an injury. At 6’2″ 285 pounds, he was a three-star prospect out of New York. He entered the portal in May 2021.


3. B’Ahmad Miller

DL | Maryland

Miller has only appeared in a handful of games for the Terrapins since arriving on campus in 2017. Originally from Maryland, he was a three-star prospect at 6’2 and 286 pounds. He has been in the portal since January 2021.


2. Dytarious Johnson

DL | Eastern Illinois

Johnson was originally a Michigan-commit as a three-star linebacker in the Class of 2016 from Alabama. By 2017, he was with Eastern Illinois After being a top role player a freshman, he boasted all-conference seasons at linebacker in 2018 and 2019. Now, 6’1″ 270 pounds, he has since transitioned to defensive line. He has been in the portal since May 2021.


1. Mason Vega

DL | Hawaii

Vega was in the class of 2016 out of California that signed with Portland State. After his freshman season, he attended Chaffey College (JUCO) before committing to Hawaii in 2019. That year he would start in seven games before being sidelined for the rest of the year. He did not play in 2020 and entered the portal in February 2021.
